International Conference “VARNAINVEST September 2007”
development of Northeastern Planning Region of Bulgaria
The mission of the conference “VARNAINVEST September 2007” is to boost Northeastern Planning Region (NUTS-2) economy searching for complex and strategic solutions of the problems defined. Some of these problems are as follow: bad infrastructure, labor force flow, low investment activity, poorly developed collaboration on regional, national and international level resulting in low competitiveness of the Region.
The goal of the conference “VARNAINVEST September 2007” is to set up the ground for international working groups to be created in order to improve the development process of the Northeastern Region. The groups will include representatives of the European institutions, international consulting companies, the Ministry of Development of Germany, financial institutions and major private investors.
